Overview Project Details

The first of its kind in Northern Ireland, the STEM Centre (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) is an interactive teaching and exhibition space located within the new Dungannon Campus of South West College. The brief for the project was compiled by the InnoTech Centre and included a new external entrance and re–fit of classrooms displaced by the new STEM Centre.

The Centre aims to provide a unique opportunity to learn and develop new skills in an exciting and technology rich environment.

The vision of the Centre is to create a space where students’ education can be enhanced through working with other students and interacting with the modern high–tech facilities in a relaxing and welcoming environment. The space can also be used to train teachers in the latest technologies and techniques relevant to science and technology education.
