Clydebank Leisure Centre wins RIAS Award

Clydebank Leisure Centre

RIAS Awards Success!

Kennedy FitzGerald Architects are delighted to announce that Clydebank Leisure Centre has won a prestigious RIAS (Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland) Award. The award recognises Clydebank Leisure Centre as one of the best examples of architecture in Scotland in 2018. The building will now be considered for the overall RIAS Andrew Doolan Award for the Best Building in Scotland to be presented in November.

The RIAS judges commented:

“This building was a clever delivery of a complex brief on a tight site. The external form and materials were confident whilst being restrained. The panel were impressed with the design solution.”

The award is particularly pleasing as it provides further recognition of Kennedy FitzGerald Architects expertise in the sport and leisure sector and demonstrates KFAs ability to deliver quality buildings in other markets.

Kennedy FitzGerald continue to work successfully on a number of projects in Scotland.

Congratulations to all involved with this project.
