The Community Benefit Awards recognises outstanding achievement in providing a facility which directly benefits the local community. The project must illustrate its success through local community feedback.

Belfast South Methodist Church on the Lisburn Road was highly commended at the RICS Northern Ireland Awards 2013 in the Community Benefit category as well as being shortlisted in the Regeneration category.

Mark Finlay was presented with the Highly Commended Award by Ian Mayne, Deputy Secretary, Planning & Local Government Group, Department of the Environment. The Awards Ceremony took place at Riddel Hall, itself a RICS NI regional winner.
